Leaders often have to set and find ways of achieving goals for themselves and their teams to be successful. A variety of challenges can arise in the process of working toward goals. Drawing on theories from goal achievement and positive psychology, this session will address key aspects about the purpose and benefits of goals, process of developing and working toward goals, and factors that impact motivation. Specific strategies related to sustaining motivation to achieve goals will be discussed.
