Recent research reports that about 14% of all K-12 children receive Special Education Services, and 63% of these students spend at least 80% of their day in the general education classroom (Ed.gov). This session will provide a "crash-course" for pre-service teachers on the most common disabilities in the general education classroom and considerations for supporting students with disabilities.
