Description: Executive function challenges are widely seen in classrooms whether students are labeled with a disability or not. Students with executive function deficits are often mislabeled as lazy, disorganized, or having behavior problems. This session will review executive function skills as brain processes while considering supports in language, organization, sensory, and motor skills to increase productivity. Attendees will also receive an overview of the 6 pledges of an ADHD friendly school.
