National Poetry Month Contest: Limerick - Extended deadline!

Monday, April 6, 2020 7:30 a.m. to Saturday, May 2 at 11:45 p.m.

UCF Libraries is hosting our annual poetry contests!

Limerick - Submissions due by April 27, 2020 at 11:59 pm. 
A limerick is a funny 5 line poem with a strict rhyme scheme of AABBA. The third and fourth lines (BB) are shorter. Please remember to note the prohibition on sexually explicit content below. Several examples of “clean” limericks can be found on Wikipedia: Limerick (poetry).

All qualified submissions are entered into STARS KnightVerse, the Libraries' digital repository for student work. Winners receive a #UCFLibraries water bottle and a limited edition Quiet Floor rubber duckie.
