Research Recovery Re-Scaling: Industry Webinar Series #4, July 15, 10 AM

Wednesday, July 15, 2020 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Researchers from UCF’s Department of Psychology and Rosen College of Hospitality Management conducted a survey of 1,000+ hospitality workers who were recently furloughed or let go about their perceptions on the communication process from their organization, and their intentions to return to the industry and former employers. This study was supported by grant number T42OH008438, funded by the National Institute Occupational Safety (NIOSH) and Health under the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

In addition to discussing the above, early findings from other hospitality-related collaborative projects under this research umbrella will be shared in this webinar. The presentation will close by discussing benefits of industry-academia partnerships for managing the unique and unprecedented challenges of COVID-19.
