October is Domestic Violence Awareness month and UCF Victim Services will be hosting an Intimate Partner Abuse Educational Workshop Series. Every Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in October, we will be hosting educational workshops via zoom that will focus on topics related to intimate partner abuse and how it can affect students, faculty, and staff at UCF. Each series will have a panel of professionals doing a Q&A followed by a scenario discussion on the topic of that week.
The first workshop of the series, Let's Talk About It on Wednesday, October 7 at 3:00 p.m., focuses on dating abuse and how it can affect a student's life. The workshop will have panelists from UCF Victim Services, UCF Police Department, Green Dot, and Victim Service Center.
