Physics Career Exploration Day

Today’s physicists find themselves working in almost every science and engineering environment, including teaching, and are often in leadership roles. Physics Career Exploration Day is designed to help students learn about the great career opportunities available to them in the field of physics and to engage in the learning environment and programs at UCF.

Physics Career Exploration Day is geared toward high school students, college freshmen and sophomores.

  • Demo - Music and Physics
  • Talk of the Day: A Career Path to Physics 
  • Alumni Panel - Future for Physics Graduates
  • Demo - Application of Physics in the Pandemic
  • Academic Life - Talk Given by Current UCF Physics Students

12:00 PM – 12:30 PM

  • Lunch Break & Questions and Answers Session

12:30 PM – 2:00 PM

  • Lab Tour - Biophysics
  • Lab Tour - Chemical Physics - Electron Dynamics
  • Explanation of Introductory Physics Course
  • Lab Tour - Planetary Physics
  • Demo - Fun With Physics
