As a part of the EXCEL program, you have the benefit of being assigned an EXCEL upper class mentor to help guide you through your first year. This mentoring program called GEMS (Girls EXCELling in Math and Science), gives you the opportunity to participate in networking events, socials, and to receive additional guidance from an EXCEL alumna in a related major to your own.

To get you acquainted with your GEMS mentor and other members of the EXCEL community, we sponsor this kick-off event each year. Come out and join us for some snacks and pick up your GEMS t-shirt. RSVP will be sent to you via email.
