Respectful Dialogue Discussions, Part 1 - PER239 (Faculty & Staff Only)

Wednesday, March 2, 2022 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Presented by Dr. Jim McCafferty from the Nicholson School of Communication and Media, the Respectful Dialogue Discussions Mini-Series consists of four 45-minute sessions that will assist participants in improving their ability to communicate more effectively with targeted workplace audiences. The topics covered will better equip participants to handle conflict, build on their communications skills, and confront challenging situations with more ease.

The topic for this session is "Styles of Conflict Management." There are different ways of coping with conflict, but none of them is the ideal match for every situation. Learn a little about what you do well and where you can "up your game" in addressing those workplace conflicts that we all inevitably face.
