Dr. Paul Vasquez explores diversity in militaries and the postwar fates of minority groups, German Jews and African Americans, in this presentation of his research. Dr. Vasquez will highlight Germany's postwar WWI military demobilization due to the Treaty of Versailles and the role played by American veterans post WWII, including U.S. Presidents Truman and Eisenhower, to explain the differences.
