E-Portfolios: Make Your Online Presence Work For You

There are opportunities to create social change from your future workplace, but how do you get there first? This interactive virtual presentation will involve students taking a look at their own leadership experiences and what information is out there for employers to see, Students will then be introduced to what an electronic career portfolio or ePortfolio as well as tips and tricks on how to build and maintain one utilizing best practices from The International Journal of ePortfolio and the ePortfolio Project at Auburn University. Lastly, attendees will be introduced to the 2021 Key Attributes Employers Seek on College Graduates' Resumes list from the National Association of Colleges and Employers and challenged to consider what transferrable skills their leadership experiences have provided to them. They will then craft an outline for their first ePortfolio posting to demonstrate how their collegiate involvements will contribute to their employability.
