Respectful Dialogue Discussions, Part 2 - LDR023 (Faculty & Staff Supervisors Only)

Wednesday, March 23, 2022 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Presented by Dr. Jim McCafferty from the Nicholson School of Communication and Media, the Respectful Dialogue Discussions Mini-Series consists of four 45-minute sessions that will assist participants in improving their ability to communicate more effectively with targeted workplace audiences. The topics covered will better equip participants to handle conflict, build on their communications skills, and confront challenging situations with more ease.

The topic for this session is "Managing Conflict as a Supervisor." You’re the person in charge, but you realize that treating everyone with the “my way or the highway” style of conflict management is likely to backfire. So what alternatives exist, and how can you build the skills you need to turn conflict episodes into opportunities for feedback and growth? Attend this session to find out!
