To register for this trip, complete the Adventure Trip Registration Form. All trips will be registered via lottery system. The lottery is open for 24 hours from the registration open date and time. All registrations received after the 24-hour period will be added to the waitlist. Once the participants have been randomly selected, selected participants will be contacted via phone call to complete their registration and payment for the trip. Registration is not confirmed until you pay over the phone or in person.

Trip Description: Spend the day kayaking over 10 miles through the twists and turns of the St. Johns River and surrounding creeks. We will start at Hontoon Island State Park and stop half way at Blue Spring State Park for lunch. If we’re lucky, we might get to eat lunch with some manatees if they are still by the springs when we head out there. This trip is long, but follows the creeks and river downstream, and provides some beautiful views and experiences.
What’s Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity and professional guidance by OA Trip Leaders. Participants should wear athletic clothing, appropriate footwear, and bring personal water/snacks. Food is provided for the trip. A full packing list will be provided at the Pre-Trip Meeting. Positive health behaviors are encouraged.
