Rescheduled Event Due to Tropical Storm Nicole: Collaborations with Content Area Educators: Lessons Learned about the Role of Literacy in Science Teaching and Learning

Thursday, December 8, 2022 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

This interdisciplinary team will present lessons learned from a National Science Foundation-funded project that focused on reforming a secondary science education program to prepare preservice teachers to teach science to all students, including, English Learners. Attendees will learn evidence-based ways to create and sustain literacy collaborations with science teachers and receive resources to support all students' literacy and science learning.
