Navigating Academic Integrity - A Focus on Writing

Wednesday, March 14, 2012 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
What is cheating and plagiarism? What is the difference and why does it matter? This workshop series, brought to you by the Office of Student Conduct, provides a safe space to ask questions about academic misconduct. If you think something might be considered cheating, but you don’t know what to do about it, come to this workshop and ask the experts! If you are not sure if you your paper is paraphrased correctly or plagiarized, come find out. The purpose of these sessions is to provide you with free resources on campus that assist with navigating this complex and (sometimes) controversial topic. This month’s workshop partners with the Writing Center to help you understand how to cite, paraphrases, or quote properly. Read More
