Join the University Writing Center for an Open Mic event with a Masquerade Ball theme on March 23 at 6:30 p.m! Come read and hear original writing—including poetry, fiction, nonfiction, or an excerpt from one of your academic texts—all five minutes or less. Don’t have anything to read? Join us anyway to support UCF writers!
Attendees are encouraged to dress up in formal wear and a masquerade mask, as we will be having a runway contest! Don't have formal wear or don't feel like wearing formal wear? Just wear a masquerade mask and come as you are! Please remember this is an on-campus event, so only wear outfits that will be appropriate for a general audience.
The event is located in Trevor Colbourn Hall Room 109 on the UCF main campus, and is open to all UCF student writers. We recommend students park in Parking Garage I, as it is nearest to the event.
