Friday, March 30, 2012 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
As Chair of the 6th Annual Public Administration Research Conference, I want to personally invite you to attend this year’s conference. Registration is now open and is $50 ($40 for students), which includes a continental breakfast and buffet lunch. Conference program with abstract, as well as registration, is available at: http://iog.ucf.edu/2012PAC/

We are excited to welcome Dr. Frances L. Edwards from San Jose State University and National Transportation Security Center who will present during the morning plenary, as well as Joyce Shanahan, City Manager of Ormond Beach and incoming FCCMA President, will present on the value of public service during the luncheon keynote address. Concurrent presentation sessions will highlight results from case studies, showcase how communities address resiliency and sustainability issues in light of resource constraints, and include an academic and practitioner exchange. The conference will conclude with Pi Alpha Alpha inductions.

Please mark your calendars and plan to join fellow city and county managers, emergency managers, planners, elected officials, nonprofit managers, faculty, staff, and students from across Central Florida and the state to learn more about how local governments and regions are creating resilient and sustainable communities.
