Enjoy one of Florida's most beautiful rivers and springs at the Ichetucknee River in Fort White, Florida! Experience the beautiful teal water as you float down the river through an oasis of trees. Relish the refreshing waters by spending the night camping with your fellow UCF students. Fall asleep to the sound of flowing water and wake up to the beautiful Florida sunrise before heading home. Register for this trip with this link. Registration opens on July 1 at 12 p.m. and ends on July 10 at 4 p.m. All trips are now first-come, first-served. All trips will open two weeks before the first day of the trip. If the trip is full, you can register for the waitlist using the link above.
What’s Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including camping gear, tube rentals, etc), transportation to/from the activity, and professional guidance by OA Trip Leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders. Meals will be provided on this trip; all menus will take dietary restrictions/preferences and allergies into account. Occasionally, groups will eat at restaurants while traveling. These meals are not included in your trip cost. Your Trip Leaders will inform you of any meals not included in the trip price.
What’s Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing, appropriate footwear, and bring personal water/snacks. A full packing list will be provided at the Pre-Trip Meeting.
