The Division of Digital Learning's Faculty Multimedia Center (FMC) and Pegasus Innovation Lab (iLab) will be hosting an event in partnership with the College of Health Professions and Sciences (CHPS). This event aims to promote the growth of a vibrant community of professionals within the VR and AR space. AVID will offer a platform for the sharing of real-world use cases and research through interactive tech demonstrations and presentations.
Join us to learn how the PORTL Hologram machine is being used to advance research and healthcare education by "beaming in" practitioners and patients from around the world. Experience the BLISS (Blended Learning Interactive Simulation Suite) first person as you can navigate all three walls around you in real-time augmented reality. A faculty panel, led by Dr. Bari Hoffman will explore these technologies and topics.
With a strong emphasis on networking opportunities, attendees will have the chance to engage and participate in interactive question-and-answer sessions, fostering meaningful connections and growth within higher education.
