Ever wanted to see bioluminescent dinoflagellates (aka algae) lighting up the entirety of the water you are paddling in? Well, now is your chance to see this unique sight at with the help of our professional student trip leaders. Off of the city of Titusville, Florida, you can watch this magic happen at Mosquito Lagoon. With each stroke of your paddle, you can see the water light up before your eyes, and may even see a bioluminescent jellyfish as a surprise! Register for this trip in the UCF RWC app or through the UCF RWC Membership Portal website. Registration opens on Sept. 1 at 12 p.m. and closes on Sept. 11 at 4 p.m. All trips are now first-come, first-served. All trips will open two weeks before the first day of the trip. If the trip is full, you can register for the waitlist using the link above.

What’s Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including kayaks, PFDs, headlamps, etc), transportation to/from the activity, and professional guidance by OA Trip Leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders.
What’s Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing, appropriate footwear, and bring personal water/snacks. Meals are not provided. A full packing list will be provided at the Pre-Trip Meeting.
