The Field of Memories-Be Aware Show You Care Flag Exhibit is a powerful and poignant visual display representing the 1,100 suicides that occur on U. S. college campuses each year. Students participate in the event by personalizing a flag to show their support, their increased awareness; or to honor a memory of someone lost to suicide.
Students can share their stories about how they have been impacted by someone in their life either contemplating or dying by suicide. Students can also share a messages of hope to those who are struggling with depression. This exhibit represented hope and healing.
This exhibit will take place at The Reflecting Pond on Main campus Wednesday September 13th from 10am-2pm. It will also be at the Downtown campus, between DPAC and the Parramore Garage, from 11am-1pm.
