Pre-Trip Date and Time: April 8 - 6:00 PM
Trip Description: Join Outdoor Adventure and the National Park Trust for a FREE kayaking and fishing adventure! On this trip, we will explore the beautiful Indian River Lagoon for try our luck with inshore fishing. Packed full of grassy sea beds, mangroves, and salt marshes, this fishery attracts large numbers of baitfish such as shrimp and mullet. Where there are baitfish, there are bigger fish! All fish we catch will be released.
What’s Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including fishing gear, watercraft, etc) transportation to/from the activity, and professional guidance by OA Trip Leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders. Lunch will be provided on this trip; we will take dietary restrictions/preferences and allergies into account.
What’s Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing, appropriate footwear, and bring personal water/snacks. A full packing list will be provided at the Pre-Trip Meeting.
