Register for this trip in the UCF RWC app or through the UCF RWC Membership Portal website. All trips are now first-come, first-served. All trips will open two weeks before the first day of the trip. If the trip is full, you can register for the waitlist using the link above.
Pre-Trip Date & Time: March 6 at 6 p.m.
Trip Description: Did you know that we have our very own National Scenic Trail right here in Florida? Similar to the Appalacian Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail, the Florida Trail spans 1,500 miles from the bottom of Everglades to the top of the panhandle. While we won’t be tackling the whole trail on this trip, we will get to help maintain a section close to campus! Join us on this free trip to learn more about the Florida Trail and get your hands dirty to help improve our local resources!
What’s Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including saws, safety glasses, and safety vests), transportation to/from the activity and professional guidance by OA Trip Leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders.
What’s Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing and appropriate footwear, and bring personal water/snacks. Meals are not provided. A full packing list will be provided at the Pre-Trip Meeting.
