Suicide is the second leading cause of death among college and university students, but it is also one of the most preventable causes of death. In this suicide prevention training, you will learn how to identify individuals at risk, talk with them about their suicidal thoughts, and refer them to resources for help. It is designed for students, faculty and staff, and anyone at UCF. Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a free, one-hour presentation where you will learn the warning signs of suicide and three basic principles of how to help save a life.
