Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is the gold standard of remote emergency medicine. This 8-day course is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who want to go beyond the basics - in this course, we will learn and practice skills related to emergency response and care in wilderness and remote settings.
In this course, we will learn anatomy and physiology, engage in in-depth practice scenarios, and have plenty of opportunities to learn by trial and error. A Basic Life Support (BLS) level CPR certification is included in this course (this is the CPR course taken by medical professionals).

- 8-day course taught over a one-week period
- Saturday, August 3-Saturday, August 10
- 8:30am-5:30pm everyday
- Cost: $750
- WFR certification card is valid for 3 years
- To recertify, you can take a 2-day Wilderness First Aid Course before the expiration date of your WFR certification
- American Heart Association CPR BLS certification is included; valid for 2 years
