Presenting numerical results in LaTeX -- Algorithms, Source Code, Plotting, and Tables

Friday, November 17, 2023 10 a.m. to noon

In this hands-on workshop, learn good practices for communicating numerical results through LaTeX. Attendees will become familiar with popular LaTeX packages for writing algorithms/pseudocode, presenting and formatting source code, organizing and managing their plots, and presenting numerical results in a table alongside. While attendees are expected to have a working knowledge of LaTeX, all materials will be provided through Overleaf, a free-to-use LaTeX editor. If you do not have an account already, you may create one via https://www.overleaf.com/register.

Python source code will be provided, with outputs, plots, and tables included. There is no expectation of being specifically proficient with Python, attendees may use the skills they learn in this workshop and incorporate any language of choice into their LaTeX document.
