“Born in Haiti in a Province called “Jeremie ” City of Poets”, Patrick Noze describes himself as a third-generation artist whose primary objective is to revolutionize the world of Haitian art with his contribution to Haitian culture in the art world. Legacy of a God gifted talent, he began painting and sculpting at the age of 5. Mr. Noze’s personal fascination is the human anatomy because he believes it is important to capture human characteristics and the uniqueness of their personality. His role and challenge as an artist is to pro create what God has already created and with his brush strokes and the accuracy of his chisel, the end result a fine work of art. In 1976, he entered the United States and began studying art, taking private lessons at the Brooklyn Museum And the School of Visual Arts in New York Where he concentrated Anatomy and color techniques, in 1979 he entered Franklin Delano Roosevelt High school with art as his major with a focus in art History. He attended Pratt Institute, School of Art and Science, majoring in fine arts with a minor in education His exhibition runs from February 7th – March 5th.
