Dr. Peter Delfyett, Distinguished Pegasus Professor, UCF College of Optics & Photonics, will facilitate this session.
Several strong/weak DOD proposal writing examples will be discussed to demonstrate best practices. A brief overview of the DOD proposal review process, the pros and cons of communicating with the DOD program manager before proposal submission, developing an impactful quad chart, discussion of the budget, developing the evaluation/assessment plan, and common mistakes to avoid will be discussed.
