Florida Simulation Summit 2025

Friday, May 9, 2025 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In collaboration with the National Center for Simulation, Orange County Government invites you to the 2025 Florida Simulation Summit. Join industry leaders, innovators, and experts for an interactive exploration of how Smart Decisions Build Smart Cities: Optimizing Operations with AI and Simulation.

Overview
The Summit highlights how Central Florida’s multibillion-dollar Modeling, Simulation, and Training (MS&T) industry has diversified from defense into transportation, theme parks, and other commercial applications. These “dual-use technologies” help make the Orlando area a Smart Cities leader and a global center for technology innovation. The Summit will feature artificial intelligence (AI), simulation, and other immersive technologies that help companies and cities be smarter, more efficient, and innovative, including:

  • Industry applications for digital twins from experts at Disney, Unity, and TransformXD
  • Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) applications presented by the Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality Association (VRARA), featuring experts from Honeywell and Beep
  • AI and simulation presented by companies in Plug and Play’s Orlando-based Smart Cities startup accelerator
  • Keynote address from Beverly Seay, Southeast Regional Director of the Defense Innovation Unit, U.S. Department of Defense
  • Interactive demonstrations and exhibits throughout the event, including presentations from the main stage moderated by Innovate Orlando
  • Ultimate Tour Experience to be announced
