How Experience Shapes Strong Grad, Health, and Law School Applications

Wednesday, November 5, 2025 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Grades and test scores matter, but what really sets you apart is what you do outside the classroom. Academic Advancement Programs (AAP) invites pre-health, pre-law, and pre-graduate students to attend a workshop on how to find, choose, and maximize experiences that strengthen your application and shape your future career.

Learn how to:

  • Identify meaningful opportunities like research, internships, shadowing, and volunteering
  • Align your experiences with your personal and professional goals
  • Reflect on and articulate what you’ve learned in your applications and interviews
  • Avoid common pitfalls and make the most of your time

*This workshop is designed for students in the Exploring or Building stage.
