18th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Conference

Thursday, January 22, 2026 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

BEHIND THE CLICK: REWRITING THE ALGORITHM TO REDUCE DEMAND AGAINST EXPLOITATION

Conference speakers are all survivors and lived experience experts.

Please join United Abolitionists, Inc. and the University of Central Florida’s Center for the Study of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery for the 18th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Conference. This hybrid conference brings together survivors, lived-experience leaders, advocates, technologists, researchers, and policymakers to confront the growing role of technology in driving human trafficking. We will identify innovative strategies, policy reforms, and tech-based interventions that protect vulnerable populations, disrupt exploitative networks, and empower survivors to lead systemic change. This is more than a conversation; it’s a movement to rewrite the algorithm and reclaim the digital space for safety, justice, and freedom.

Tickets: free via Eventbrite registration here.

Lunch and parking will be provided at no cost for in-person registration.
