Introduction to Team Development

Tuesday, March 24, 2026 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Introduction to Team Development is designed to equip supervisors with practical strategies to enhance team dynamics, empower their people, and drive performance through intentional development. A key focus of the session is understanding how each stage of team formation—Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing, and Adjourning—presents unique challenges and opportunities, and how supervisors can effectively support their teams through each phase to achieve high performance. Participants will explore foundational frameworks such as DiSC personality styles, CliftonStrengths, and the Five Dysfunctions of a Team. Through guided discussions and interactive activities, participants will gain insights into how individual differences influence collaboration, leverage team strengths for greater productivity, and how to foster trust and accountability. The session provides actionable tools that can be immediately applied to improve team dynamics in the workplace.
