Introduction to Supervisors — Part II: Compliance, Conflict Resolution, and Emotional Intelligence

 This session is the second part of a two-part series designed for new and aspiring supervisors to deepen their knowledge of legal compliance, conflict management, and emotional intelligence. Participants will explore their supervisory responsibilities related to UCF and federal regulations, develop conflict resolution skills, and understand the role of emotional intelligence in leadership.

What Participants Will Learn:

  • The basics of supervisory compliance and ethical responsibilities specific to UCF and federal regulations
  • Approaches to recognizing and resolving workplace conflicts
  • The role of emotional intelligence in successful supervision

Building on the skills developed in Part I, this session provides a comprehensive foundation for effective supervision. Additional deep-dive sessions and curated resources are available to support continued growth and mastery.
