OpenStax provides high-quality, accessible, course-aligned OER across sciences, math, business, nursing, computer science, social sciences, and humanities. This workshop, part of FCTL’s Teaching and Learning Days Professional Development event, explores how OpenStax materials are developed, supported, and customized, with faculty examples. Attendees will also see Assignable, a Canvas-integrated tool that streamlines assignments, assessments, and grade syncing to enhance learning and reduce costs.
This workshop will be led by OpenStax, a publisher of open education resources (OER), and hosted by the Faculty Center for Teacher and Learning (FCTL).
