As generative AI becomes an embedded part of students’ academic workflows, instructors using Yellowdig face new opportunities and challenges in fostering authentic engagement. This session invites Yellowdig users to examine the role of AI within the platform—when it supports learning, when it undermines it, and how to design discussions that keep the focus student-centered inquiry. Participants will explore strategies for leveraging Yellowdig to promote thoughtful, student-driven interaction while setting clear expectations for responsible and effective use of AI in online discussions.
