Grant Writing Academy: Competitive proposal development for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)

An overview of the DOE proposal review process, pros and cons of communicating with agency program manager before proposal submission, developing the project summary/initial abstract and its importance, discussion of budget, developing the evaluation plan, and common mistakes to avoid will be discussed. Several strong proposal writing examples will be discussed to demonstrate best practices.
