Learn the art of video production with essential techniques in scripting, storyboarding, lighting, framing, and editing. This informative session will prepare you to create visually appealing videos to enhance student engagement and retention.

In this workshop, you'll learn to: 

  • identify fundamental video production techniques related to scripting, framing, lighting, audio, and editing for asynchronous instructional videos.
  • evaluate video examples using best practices for learner engagement, clarity, and production quality.
  • apply principles from Mayer’s Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning to support effective instructional video design.
  • identify FMC tools, spaces, and resources available to support the creation of instructional media.

This workshop is limited to faculty, staff and GTA's only.
