Every day, hundreds of people use the stepstools throughout UCF Libraries without giving them a second thought. Now, you can help give one of those library staples a fresh start for the new academic year by participating in Foster-A-Stepstool.
Take a stepstool home, clean it and transform it with your own painted design before returning it to the library to lift future researchers up for years to come. This hands-on project is a fun way to support the library community and leave your mark on a tool that serves thousands.
Registration is limited to the first 50 participants. Stepstools will be distributed on Sept. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in room 402 on the fourth floor of the library. Finished stepstools must be returned by Oct. 13.
To ensure the stepstools remain safe and functional, please don't include inappropriate content or attach anything that protrudes, can fall off or makes the stepstool unusable in any way. The rubber traction pads must be reattached before returning your stepstool. UCF Libraries reserves the right to decline to display or repaint any submitted stepstools that don't meet these guidelines.
