This interactive session will guide UCF faculty and staff through the process of designing effective non-academic courses, known as Special Programs, using the ADDIE instructional design model. Participants will explore how to conduct a needs assessment, define clear goals, organize content, and create an engaging and accessible learning experience. They will also receive a ready-to-use Special Programs Course Model that can be customized for their own course.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to:
- Define the ADDIE model and its role in designing non-academic courses.
- Use ADDIE and the Special Programs questionnaire to create a practical course blueprint.
- Prepare and submit a course-shell request through the Special Programs Support Tool.
