Trip Description: Float through the peaceful waterways surrounding Hontoon Island State Park on one of Florida's most scenic paddling adventures. We'll explore the St. Johns River and quiet backwater channels while keeping an eye out for manatees, turtles, wading birds and other native wildlife. Whether it's your first time on the water or you're an experienced paddler, this relaxed trip is the perfect way to experience one of Central Florida's hidden gems.
What's Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including vessels, paddles, and PFDs), transportation to/from the activity, and professional guidance by Outdoor Adventure trip leaders. All staff members are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders.
What's Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing (swimsuits, dry fit clothing) and appropriate footwear (shoes that fit closely to your feet and can get wet). Bring personal water/snacks. Meals are not provided on this trip. A full packing list will be provided at the pre-trip meeting.
