Pre-Trip Date & Time: Monday, October 5 at 6:30pm
Trip Description: Experience one of Central Florida's best wildlife destinations as the sun begins to set over the Orlando Wetlands. We'll hike easy trails through marshes, lakes, and boardwalks while searching for alligators, wading birds, deer, otters, and countless other species. As golden hour gives way to sunset, enjoy incredible views and a peaceful evening immersed in Florida's natural beauty.
What's Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including day packs), transportation to/from the activity, and professional guidance by OA Trip Leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED.
What's Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing, appropriate footwear, and bring personal water/snacks. A full packing list will be provided at the Pre-Trip Meeting.
Tentative Itinerary (time and activities are subject to change):
2:45 PM – Arrive at Outdoor Adventure Center and travel to Orlando Wetlands Park in Christmas, FL
3:45 PM – Arrive at Orlando Wetlands Park; take care of personal needs
4:00-7:30 PM – Walk the trails and watch the sunset
7:30 PM – Drive back to UCF
8:00 PM – Arrive at Outdoor Adventure Center
