Film Club is proud to present our annual weekend marathon, taking place from November 16th-18th. This year, our theme will be the year 1959. We will have a great collection of films of several genres, styles, and languages that will provide some insight as to the many factors that make it such an important year in the history of film. The weekend will open on Friday night with Blu-Ray editions of North by Northwest and Sleeping Beauty and will continue on Saturday and Sunday, each of which will consist of a round about five films with short breaks in between. Given how great a year 1959 was, we will be showing films in two separate rooms simultaneously, thus providing viewers with more choices than usual. Food and drinks will be provided on Saturday and Sunday.
