HAPPY Hour Student Showcase: Pre-service Teacher Professional Development

The University of Central Florida College of Education and Teaching Academy are hosting the HAPPY Hour Student Showcase. An in-house professional development conference that attracts 400-500 pre-service teachers annually, the Showcase is unique in that all of the presenters are pre-service teachers. One hundred eighteen student presenters will share in 74 different presentations innovative, hands-on strategies, experiences, and projects representative of Best Practices! Attendees will be able to network with peers and educators, and visit educational vendors, student organizations, and first-year teachers. In addition, the Showcase boasts the 2012 Florida Teacher of the Year Alvin Davis as the keynote speaker.

Online registration for the entire experience is a mere $10! Registering online, which will qualify attendees for door prizes, runs through Monday, January 21, 2013.
