"Walking, Empowering, Learning & Living." A unique and novel fitness class that aims to encompass the definition of wellness. Each class begins with a brisk 30 min walk around campus and will end back at the RWC for an additional fitness component. Every week we highlight a different form of physical wellness; from strengthening the feet, to stabilziing the ankles and gaining balance, all the way to the power of dance! Each class concludes with a brief mediation that is designed to explore the mind and calm the body. Once a month a guest speaker in each area of Wellness (physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, occupational & social) will come along for the walk to share some expertise with an educational piece presented to the group.
