Excitement continues to build for the 2017-18 UCF men's and women's basketball season, and fans will have their first opportunity to see this year's Knights at Homecoming Hoops on the Plaza presented by First Watch. The interactive fan event is set for Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the CFE Arena Plaza.
Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to meet players from both the UCF men's and women's basketball teams, hear from head coach Johnny Dawkins, and compete in contests to win prizes.
The first 1,000 students at the event will receive a First Watch gift card and one lucky student will have the opportunity to participate in the half-court shot contest presented by First Watch. If the lucky contestant makes the shot, they will receive tuition for a semester.
After the conclusion of the event, fans are encouraged to stick around for UCF Homecoming activities, including food truck, inflatables, performances and the annual homecoming fireworks show. (via UCFKnights.com)
