Supporting Faculty in the Wake of Hurricane Maria

This session will focus on ways to support our faculty members and how they can support others affected by Hurricane Maria and its aftermath. The first part of the session will inventory resources available (e.g., the Employee Assistance Program, option for tenure clock adjustment for tenure-earning faculty, opportunities for research and teaching collaborations). The second part of the session will engage participants in brainstorming additional ways to help faculty and students in Puerto Rico and other affected areas, particularly around continuing their teaching and learning.
