Living Shoreline Stabilization Day

February 24, 2018
Seminole Rest, Oak Hill
9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.

Hurricane Irma battered our successful living shoreline at Seminole Rest Historic Site in Canaveral National Seashore. Seven boats and a lot of debris washed up on this shoreline. All boats have now been removed, so we need your help to re-stabilize this important historic site. We will need help removing any remaining debris, transporting materials and deploying mangroves and oyster shell bags.
