Learn about U.S. policy in the Middle East under the Obama and Trump administrations, and what role Washington is likely to play in this evolving region in the future.
Perry Cammack is a Middle East Fellow at the Washington-based Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Cammack writes extensively and provides analysist on regional trends in the Middle East and their implications on American foreign policy. He also closely follows regional developments in politics, governance, security, business, and civil society. Prior to joining, Cammack served on Secretary of State John Kerry’s policy planning staff. Additionally, he worked for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for almost a decade as a Middle East advisor to Senators Joseph Biden and John Kerry.
