The 2nd Annual Conference of the UCF College of Business' Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate/Dr. P. Phillips Institute for Research & Education in Real Estate
A preeminent meeting of commercial real estate owners, practitioners, and key decision makers in Central Florida with keynote presentations and roundtables by local/state politicians, real estate and related industry CEOs/Senior Execs, and UCF scholars. Topics will focus on the changing environment facing the real estate industry in 2013 and beyond; specifically those impacting the commercial space market, investment market, and lending environment. Additionally, focus will be given to major projects and economic developments in Central Florida and the state.
This conference will serve to help fulfill the university’s mission to enrich the industry and community with timely information and presentations from key leaders in the industry and community. Further this conference will help to elevate the regional and national reputation and awareness of UCF’s real estate program. This will benefit recruiting for our undergraduate and master’s programs and help facilitate the long term career development of our students and alumni. Revenue from the conference and sponsorship will be used to cover direct costs of the conference and any remainder will go to benefit and assist UCF in carrying out its missions of student development, industry outreach, and academic research.
Invitees will include leaders and senior management/executives of real estate investors, owners, brokerages, and service firms in Central Florida and across the state; executives involved in projects and programs of economic significance in Central Florida; elected officials and representatives of governmental agencies; alumni of UCF’s College of Business Administration; student members of the UCF Real Estate Club; members of the media; and special invited guests. Additionally, we will seek to invite representative and members of local real estate industry organizations who are currently partnering or have partnered with UCF Real Estate including NAIOP Central Florida, CCIM Institute, Central Florida Commercial Association of Realtors, International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, Building Owners and Management Association, Institute of Real Estate Management, Appraisal Institute, Orlando Regional Realtor Association, and Central Florida Realty Investors Association.
