UCF Educators' Summer Institute - Best Practices for Inclusive Education

Friday, June 27, 2014 1 p.m. to Saturday, June 28 at 5 p.m.
In January 2014, the Florida Department of Education adopted the Educator Certification Rule 6A-4.0051 entitled, Renewal and Reinstatement of Professional Certificate which became effective February 25, 2014.

Beginning July 1, 2014, any applicant for renewal or reinstatement of a Florida professional certificate must earn at least one (1) semester hour of college credit or the equivalent of 20 hours of in-service points on the instruction of students with disabilities. The Educators' Summer Institute (ESI) is a series of training designed specifically to meet Educators' Re-certification Requirements.

Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to visit and explore the nationally acclaimed TeachLive Lab, where they can enhance their behavior management skills in a safe virtual classroom.
